Lebbe Sugar Specialties, a branch of Tiense Suiker refinery in Oostkamp, was looking for a flexible wrapper with many options to stably package the various products for transport. And that with optimal use of plastic.
Based on the requirements specified by Lebbe Sugar Specialties, we proposed the Tosa 123E ring wrapper. This is the second ring wrapper that we installed at Südzucker Group. The biggest asset of this machine is the versatile wrapping programming. Because Lebbe products are often still warm, they require a special wrapping program to prevent condensation in the foil. This is no problem for the ‘smart wrapping technology’ of the Tosa 123E ring wrapper. The machine creates open holes in the wrapping cycle, calculates how many grams of foil are needed, analyzes where more or less foil is needed and applies reinforcement.
So we provided a machine that wraps very flexibly, with wrapping programs tailored to the different products. The result: precisely and stably wrapped pallets, with a minimum of plastic foil.
