In one of Inveja’s factories, located in Twello (Netherlands), they package proteins in powder form. These powders are packed in valve bags of 10 to 25 kg.
Inveja had an automatic bagging system, but stacking was still semi-automatic. Because the products vary in density, there are large differences in the degree of filling of the bag. They went looking for a fully automatic palletizing machine that stacks accurately and fits within their factory.
We installed the Winner 400 robot palletizer with integrated labeling machine, metal detector and checkweigher. We installed this next to the current bagging installation, connected by several Europack conveyor belts.
After the bags are filled by the bagging machine, they are aligned. The label is then applied. The bags are forwarded to the Winner 400 robot palletizer where the approved bags are stacked fully automatically and accurately on the pallet. Rejected bags are set aside for revision.
